Bruce Swalwell Architects was appointed as the Master Plan Consultant for the
design of a New Town to accommodate 50,000 people to enable the relocation
and expansion of the Pudong International Airport, on the outskirts of Shanghai.
The commission also included the design of the 1.5 Hectare Town Centre which
includes public and private buildings.
